It started with a saved search and a deadline.
A controller we work with needed weekly inventory data in Power BI. The official answer was middleware — another vendor in the stack, another contract, another rollout measured in months. The actual answer landed in her SharePoint folder the following Monday at 6am, and every Monday after that. No middleware. No new logins. Just the data, where she already worked.
Then we did it for a second client. Then a fifth. Then we noticed every finance team we worked with had the same problem: data trapped in NetSuite, controllers waiting on developers, the same export work happening over and over in different shapes. So we productized what we'd been quietly doing for years. That's Outpost.
